- If a customer cancels the order before the products are shipped out, Gifts Byte will refund the price paid for the product including any taxes / vat and shipping charges.
RETURN: the terms and Conditions of Gifts Byte return policy is as follows:
- A customer must inform (“www.giftsbyte.com”) of the intent to return a product(s) within 48 hours, from date of delivery by sending an email at [email protected].
- A product(s) will be deemed defective, if the following conditions prevail: a. If the product(s) material is cracked or broken.
- The product(s) must be returned to Gifts Byte unused / undamaged, in the original packaging, along with the care instructions, box, ribbon (if any) and original invoice or gift receipt within 10 days from receipt of delivery.
- Return delivery address for product(s): GIFTS BYTE, Subhash Nagar, New Delhi 110018.
- Product(s) used or damaged by the customer will not be accepted as returns and hence no money will be refundable.
- The Customer will incur all shipping charges, including any octroi or local taxes for returning the product to GIFTS BYTE.
- Product(s) being returned are the sole responsibility of the customer till the good(s) are delivered to GIFTS BYTE.
- Product(s) damaged or misplaced by the courier company in transit, when a customer is returning a product will not be accepted as a return and no money will be refunded.
REFUND: the terms and Conditions of GIFTS BYTE refund policy is as follows:
- On receipt of goods the Customer will be intimated at the email address submitted at the time of registration.
- Shipping charges and local taxes / VAT /Octroi incurred by GIFTS BYTE for sending the product to the customer is non refundable.
- GIFTS BYTE will (“only”) refund the published price of the product, (“LESS”) VAT & shipping charges as mentioned on the final invoice.
- Refund(s) will not exceed the actual value of the product(s) as per point 3 of the Refund sub section.
- GIFTS BYTE will not pay any transaction fee levied by the Credit Card Company or Bank on the Customer for completing the refund transaction.
- No refunds, for purchases shopped online can be made in cash.
- The (“refund amount”) will be credited to the Customer’s internet bank account / debit card / credit (“within 07 working days”) from the date of receiving the returned product(s) from the Customer, subject to the following conditions: (a) The product(s) must be returned to GIFTS BYTE unused / undamaged, in the original packaging, along with the care instructions, box, ribbon (if any) and original invoice or gift receipt. (b) GIFTS BYTE is not liable for delays in the refund process due to bank holidays or Force Majeure. Actual processing time for a refund transaction can vary from bank to bank.
A complete refund within (“07 working days”) will be made of (“total price for the product(s), including taxes and shipping charges”) if the following conditions prevail:
- Within a 4-day window period, the order can be cancelled by informing us on email at [email protected].
- If the product(s) is misplaced / damaged in transit to the customer. (a) A complete refund will be given. (b) Product(s) will be replaced free of cost.
Exception to no refunds:
- Once the shipment leaves the warehouse for delivery.
- After 3 failed delivery attempts if FedEx is the shipping agent. Please note the delivery attempts vary among the shipping agents. This will be informed before the product(s) are shipped out.
- An incorrect delivery address.
- Parcel refused by the recipient at the time of delivery.
- Product(s) returned used, manhandled or damaged.
- Product returned is received after the mandatory 10-day return window period.
